What: They started it. Or at least made every other venue feel left out, what with the party atmosphere they’ve had going on well after the plates have been cleared. From 4pm until 7pm, the massively popular Irish pub kicks off their Friday Funday drinks deal. Priced at AED149, you get unlimited house drinks to swig in the company of a live band and DJ, and it's open to both brunchers and non-brunchers alike.

Wakataua
What: Not only do we have to dress to impress at brunches, now we have to bring out the swimwear too, thanks to Wakataua’s beachside after-brunch affair, kicking off for the first time on September 18. This chilled out social on the sand will feature international guest DJs, and there’s shisha on offer too. It’s AED50 for entry, then AED300 for three hours’ worth of house beverages at the open beach bar, or if you simply want to pay as you go, you just have to spend a minimum of AED150.

The Yacht Club
What: Awesome restaurants Chamas, The Yacht Club and the Belgian Café team up to dish out a cracking all-inclusive brunch that InterContinental can be proud of, but if just once you’d rather skip to the drinks and dancing, and meet your friends and a lively crowd later on, head to Yacht Club from 4pm to 7pm. DJ Angelo takes control of a post-brunch party with unique remixes and free-flowing beverages. It’s AED145 per person.
