Oktoberfest is the world's most famous beer festival, taking place in the German city of Munich. The beer and folk festival kicks off in mid-September and lasts up to 16 or 18 days. But you do not have to fly to Munich just to experience Oktoberfest, we bring you the places here in Dubai where you can get all the German action.

Literally translated to mean “The Cellar”, this ominously titled bar at Jumeirah Beach Hotel is celebrating in style. From Friday September 15 to Wednesday October 4, head down to one of the longest-serving establishments in town for a special buy one, get one free promotion on select German hops. The offer runs from 6pm until 11.30pm on Sunday to Thursday, and starts two hours earlier (from 4pm) on Friday and Saturday.
