Nicky Jam, is an American singer and songwriter, that in 2015, won a Latin Grammy Award for Best Urban Performance. "Hasta el Amanecer" was released on January 15, 2016 on the U.S. radio stations. Billboard called the song a "sultry, sexy reggaetón track" that contains the singer's "trademark catchy melodic hooks. A number of Nicky’s music videos have been viewed over 1 billion times on YouTube. 
 
Nicky Jam performed the official song "Live It Up" alongside American rapper Will Smith and Kosovar singer Era Istrefi at the closing ceremony of the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Moscow, Russia. 
 
More recently he has had chart topping tracks with J Balvin ‘X’ which won Latin Rhythm Song of the Year at the 2019 Billboard Latin Music Awards and Bad Bunny, Ozuna, Nio García, Casper Mágico & Darell ‘Te Boté’ which won ‘Top Latin Song’ at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards, both awards Nicky Jam has either won or been nominated for, for the last 5 consecutive years.
