Some claim that Nippon Bottle Company was built in tribute to a Tsundoku, an old man renowned to have hoarded books, taught the villagers the value of reading by bribing them with booze.
Another myth claims that Nippon Bottle Company was inspired by the cursed love of Takehiko for Sakura, a nine-tailed fox, who left him brokenhearted with her betrayal. In memory of her, Nippon Bottle Company was built, a metaphor of how Sakura was -- more than what meets the eye. Until now, there are figurines inside the bar that resemble Sakura’s face.
Aside from a good mystery, guests can look forward to some equally captivating beats provided by the venue’s new in-house DJ, Bia – she’ll be spinning a number of deep house tunes every Thursday and Friday from 8.30pm to 12.30am from 3rd of August 2017.
