Groove on the Grass is a season-long range of events that takes place every couple of months throughout the winter at Emirates Golf Club. And this February 23 Grammy-nominated musician, and producer Bonobo will headline the music festival.
His recent track Kerala from the Migration album topped charts around the world and the album and another hit tune Bambro Koyo Ganada are up for Grammy’s this year for Best Dance/Electronic Album and Dance Recording.
The organizers of Groove on the Grass say Bonobo’s performance is going to be something a little different, an eight-piece live band performance hitting the main stage. Two main stages and a mix of international and local talent taking to the stage, the one day music festival plays host to an activities area and marketplace with pop up stalls.
