What is better than one brunch? Six brunches, obviously. That’s right, six brunches all rolled in to one make a mega brunch. Some might think that this may be a bit OTT, but one thing that Dubai and Atlantis, The Palm in particular excels at and that is choice. It is quite a feat to cram in several world class restaurants in to such a relatively small space and with the festive period rapidly approaching it is time to begin planning those special nights out with friends.
Following the huge success of Cirque de Cuisine last year the culinary extravaganza of the year is again making an appearance and it is bigger than ever before. Joining in on the action this year is award winning Cantonese hotspot Hakkasan and this will improve on the already stuffed full offerings from Nobu, Ossiano, Bread Street Kitchen, Seafire and Ronda Locate lli,it will also be possible to dine at The Lost Chambers Aquarium. What is so utterly intriguing about this concept is that diners are free to roam between each restaurant and grab one of the 1000 seats that are available throughout the brunch. With Atlantis being so big, it is also very comforting to know that each outlet is only a few minutes’ walk apart, which is perfect for walking off the last course in order to make room for more delights.
The theme for this year’s Cirque De Cuisine is Winter Wonderland and The Avenues will be lined with faux snow, festive ribbons and more mistletoe than you can shake a hipster’s white beard at. With the food alone being enough to pack out Atlantis tenfold, there will also be a team of performers from Cirque le Soir who will be roaming between the various eateries entertaining the masses with an incredible array of feats including acrobats, fire blowers, magicians, feather dancers and intriguingly the human pin cushion. Early bird tickets are on offer for AED495 for the bubbly package and if that doesn’t get you in the Christmas spirit then the after party at Gordon Ramsey’s Bread Street Kitchen until 3am certainly will as the DJ will be spinning festive anthems all night long.
