Breaking: Entertainers Are Now Allowed To Perform At Certain Venues In Dubai
If you’re a musician, DJ or stage performer, you’ll want to pay close attention to what’s coming next.

Dubai Tourism has issued new guidelines for entertainers to perform at some indoor and outdoor venues starting Thursday, July 2.

As per the authorities, entertainers can now perform at restaurants, pools, and common areas within hotel establishments–both outdoor and indoor–across Dubai.

A dedicated stage is to be used by a single performer at all times and no physical interaction with the audience is allowed. There also needs to be a 2m distance between the performance areas and crowd.

Regular social distancing rules must be followed at all times and group performances are strictly not allowed.

Not included in the permitted categories for entertainment are bars, nightclubs and dance floors.

The move follows the reopening of several establishments in the city after more than three months of closure due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

With tourists expected to return to Dubai from Tuesday, July 7, the city’s gearing up to welcome international travelers during the long summer months ahead.

Stay tuned for any further updates!
