CLOSED: Q43 Bids Goodbye To Dubais Social Scene

CLOSED: Q43 Bids Goodbye To Dubais Social Scene
This one’s simply heartbreaking.

We’ve just received news that Media City hotspot and Dubai’s favorite clubbing institution Q43 has closed its doors for good.

While no official reason has been given for the closure, our sources have confirmed that the venue will not be reopening.

A post left on the website following the citywide lockdown back in March simply reads: “Due to current circumstances surrounding COVID-19, Q43 will be closed from Monday 16th, 2020 until further notice.”

However, the venue posted a farewell video on its official Instagram account today with the message: “Q43 Dubai has closed its doors. To all those that have danced with us, drank with us and brunched with us, we THANK-Q from the bottom of our hearts. We may have built it, but you guys made it. Good bye to Q43.”

This was followed by a grid post stating: “All good things must come to an end. We may have built it but you guys made it.”

Having been a staple of Dubai’s eclectic party scene, the venue has hosted plenty of big names such as Erick Morillo and Roger Sanchez in the past.

It now remains to be seen which new venue will replace Q43 in the next few months.

Stay tuned for updates!
