COVID-19: PRIVATE BEACHES IN DUBAI REOPEN WITH NEW GUIDELINES
Private hotel beaches have reopened all across Dubai starting today, Tuesday, May 12, in accordance with the new directives issued by Dubai Tourism.

The new regulations state that private beaches will now open for hotel guests at 30 per cent capacity while pool, spa, sauna, gym, fitness and kids clubs will remain closed until further notice.

Groups of up to 10 members are allowed to use the beach together with guests expected to adhere to social distancing guidelines, including wearing a mask at all times and maintaining a distance of two meters between each other, and four meters with groups.

Towels and linens will not be provided, and each guest is required to bring their own.

Public beaches are still closed at the moment but outdoor tourism and sports activities are allowed with groups of less than five permitted to rent equipment including boats, bikes and jet skis.

Anybody using rental equipment is required to wear masks and gloves at all times, and staff will have to undergo mandatory temperature checks.

Parties and events are still not allowed as well as any indoor tourism activities.
