His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid, brother of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Makhtoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai has passed away on Wednesday, March 24th 2021.
The Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) extends its condolences on the demise of Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Department directs all Owners and Managers of Hotel Establishments, restaurants and Tourism companies in Dubai to observe the announced 10 day mourning period during which flags will be flown at half-most. All Event and Entertainment activities in Dubai are also to be placed on hold as of Wednesday 24 March 2021 and can resume on Sunday 28 March 2021.
