SOMETHING REALLY COOL WAS SPOTTED IN THE DUBAI SKY! DID YOU SEE IT TOO?

SOMETHING REALLY COOL WAS SPOTTED IN THE DUBAI SKY! DID YOU SEE IT TOO?
WA-OW! Looks like this year is already off to an exciting start!

If you were close to the Burj Al Arab on Monday night, you must have seen hundreds of light-carrying drones gathering up to form some very recognizable images in the sky.

As part of efforts to promote the UAE’s Year of Tolerance, the drones formed images of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai and His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai.

The dazzling display lasted for a good ten minutes with the drones also spelling out the words, “Thank you Sheikh Mohammed” along with a message in Arabic.

You might remember something similar having taken place at the Cartier Mirage event last year in November with 250 drones having taken to the night sky, illuminating it with the word “Cartier”.

We’re quite loving this impressive use of drones during events, and hope we’ll get to see more of it in the coming months!
