WONDERING WHAT TO WEAR WHILE HEADING OUT IN DUBAI? HERE'S EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW!
COMMUNITY
For those of you who are new to the city or new to the party scene in general, we’re here to guide you better on what to wear while you’re out and about in Dubai. Whether it’s a brunch or a beach club, it helps to know some of the ‘dos and don’ts’ of dressing up for an event in the city.

Clubs

This will largely depend on the type of club you’re going to – whether it’s a beach club or a nightclub – each place has its own dress code. This is why it is advisable to call up the club ahead of your visit to confirm what would be appropriate to wear. As a rule of thumb, it’s always a good idea to dress up for clubs located in swanky hotels. For beach clubs, think beach glam. This would be a good place to try out that new swimsuit you’ve tucked away in the closet. Lads, steer clear of wearing jeans, shorts, T-shirts and flip-flops to the nightclubs in Dubai.

Brunches

Brunches are a big part of Dubai’s social scene. While most venues follow a smart/casual dress code for brunches, you can still choose to dress up a little with a pair of high heels or closed shoes for men. Be careful not to overdo it though. Since most brunches are typically held in gorgeous locations, you’re better off looking your best – you’re going to be tempted to take lots of pictures anyway. Depending on what plans you have after the brunch, it’s advisable not to dress down too much. Also, if it’s a party brunch, it might be a good idea to carry a pair of comfortable shoes with you, so you can dance all you want.

Ladies’ Nights

Since most ladies’ nights are held in either bars or clubs, you’re better off following the dress code of the venue itself. Don’t be afraid to try out the hottest fashion trends while heading out with your squad to any of the ladies’ nights happening across Dubai. Who knows? You might just be snapped by one of our photographers while letting your hair down with your besties. Most Ladies’ Nights take place on Tuesdays although it’s not uncommon to find some taking place on other nights of the week too. Psstt..don’t forget to carry an extra pair of comfortable shoes with for this one too.
