Having re-imagined what a typical Saturday night in Dubai is all about URBN have totally changed the game in the last 4 years as they back the trend to what has gone before. While other clubs chose to take things easy on Saturday nights URBN went completely the other way by bringing the crème de la crème of hip hop and rap to Dubai on a weekly basis.
In those 4 short years, the likes of Kind Ink, Mann, Jason Derulo, Nelly, not to mention recent performances from The Game, Craig David, Akon and T.I. have all graced the stage of White Dubai. For the last 4 consecutive years both the club and URBN have scooped top awards for Best Club, Best Urban Night, Best Resident DJ and of course the much-lauded accolade of featuring heavily in DJ Mags Top 100 clubs coming a jaw dropping 20th. This does not show any signs of slowing down either as the club consistently ups its game season on season and has also seen White Dubai climb 6 spaces in the DJ Mag Top 100 clubs since last year.
Little has been announced regarding the line-up for URBN’s 4thbirthday bash this Saturday (April 21st) but there is no doubt that the sound system will be cranked to 11 and the club production will be simply out of this world. As always, the party will start at 11pm and run until the wee small hours (4am) and ladies will enjoy a complimentary bar until 1am. It’s time to celebrate.
