One of our favorite times of the year, St. Patrick’s Day is almost here. So, we’ve been busy rounding up only the most festive places in Dubai that’ll have you seeing shamrocks everywhere. Here’s where you’re bound to have a good time…


If you’re planning to make a day out of it, Barasti has organized a whole range of events on Saturday, the 16th of March. That’s right, the popular Brit-styled pub on Sheikh Zayed Road is getting in on the St. Patrick’s Day celebrations by offering 50% off on select beverages from 8pm to 2am to those wearing ‘something green’. How about four days of St. Paddy’s celebrations? Beginning on the 14th of March, the popular Irish pub has organized a host of activities that’ll include live entertainment, a Leprechaun themed set menu, a daily happy hour and live screening of The Six Nations Championship. Party on Thursday night with Altagore, a leading Irish folk band, taking center stage. Choose from a special menu that’ll feature a selection of Irish mains such as roast beef and Irish stew. Or pick a drink from five of their Irish cocktails. Two other bands to watch out during the festivities are ‘Gulftones' and ‘Thanks Brother’.
