Artist Profile - Tinie Tempah

Artist Profile - Tinie Tempah
With his Disturbing London parties making all sorts of noise back in Blighty, it was only a matter of time before the English rapper and songwriter ventured over to Dubai. And ventured he did, he also liked what he saw and made sure that he stuck around long enough to transplant his Disturbing brand of parties in to the already firing White Club at Meydan Racecourse. With Tempah’s Disturbing parties now been running in Dubai for just over a year, they have had the open-air club on lockdown every Friday since they launched on Valentine’s Day 2017. Tinie has since handed over the reins to his rock-solid team to hold the fort while he is off doing his thing, but now the main man is back to take centre stage once again.

Tinie Tempah is an artist that is constantly evolving and changing, keeping up with the times and staying ahead of the curve. Tempah also stars at just as many festival main stages and events that would normally see more electronic music hogging the limelight as he does celebrity hangouts, such is Tinie Tempah’s mass appeal. With early hits such as “Pass Out” and “Frisky” propelling the rapper in to the charts early on in his career it is clear he is not a one trick pony as to date all 3 of his albums have debuted in the top ten in the UK album charts. Tinie has always been at ease on stages such as Ibiza Rocks and Creamfields but his music has a global appeal as it has featured as official song for Wrestlemania XXVII. It is also the theme song for the 2011 MLB Post Season, and was used as the entrance song for the New York Giants before Super Bowl XLVI. With this chart success, it has also brought with it a huge number of accolades such as Brit Awards, Ivor Novello’s and MOBO’s.

Don’t miss out on the chance to catch the Godfather of Disturbing London perform in front of his faithful followers this Friday. Support will come from Dj Charlesy, Moky Ezra & Kenrick Chance, ladies will enjoy a complimentary bar until 1am and the party will kick on until 4am.
