It is with a very heavy heart that we can confirm that much loved beach club El Chiringuito at Rixos, The Palm has closed its doors with immediate effect. With the beach club maintaining their high standards of international DJ bookings since the post Ramadan restart, the ill-fated club effectively held its closing party Friday past with Nic Fanciulli and M.A.N.D.Y.
Since the club opened its doors in 2017 El Chiringuito has been home to the successful Nomad event series which has played host to huge names such as D’Julz, Guy Gerber, Cassy, DJ Tennis amongst a raft of the world’s top producers and selectors. The music that featured so heavily at El Chiringuito was only part of the boho chic venue’s charm and allure, the Dubai branch of the famed Ibiza beach club made Ibiza refugees feel more than at home during the Ibiza off season.
Little is known as to the reason why the franchise agreement between Crystal Group and El Chiringuito has come to an end but Dubai will surely feel the loss of such a great venue in the coming weeks and months.
