It seems that the rumors were true after all – popular London joint Axe House in JLT has closed for good. After having shut its doors rather abruptly in September this year, it has now been confirmed that the famous bar and eatery will not be re-opening.
Having replaced Cocktail Kitchen at Armada Hotel in December last year, Axe House quickly became a favorite among the brunch-loving crowd of Dubai with its hipster-themed interiors and wide selection of drinks.
There were talks of a second branch opening up in October at the H Hotel but there are still no signs of it in the works. A representative from H Hotel had confirmed to media outlets that Axe House would try opening up either before the end of this year, or early next year.
