Ladies, sorry to disappoint you but Drai’s Dubai has confirmed that it will be closing down as a daytime pool club. That’s right, no more spending lazy Tuesday afternoons by the pool at the awesome venue.
The club is set to undergo a major transformation that will involve removing the much-loved pool area along with the beach beds and cabanas. On the upside, these changes should help improve views of the Burj Khalifa and Downtown Dubai from the venue – yay!
There are also preparations underway for an exciting light show complete with a huge stage setup and mind-blowing graphics. Seems like we can only expect bigger things from what promises to be the hottest new nightlife addition.
Launch night is expected to take place this Friday, with American rapper Big Sean set to headline opening night. The party starts at 10pm and will go on till 4 in the morning.
Drai’s will be adding a whole new series of events next year to its repertoire. We’ll have to wait and watch to find out more.
Ladies, make sure you arrive early as there will be complimentary drinks available at the club from 10pm until 1am.
With so many great clubs having launched this year, it’s exciting to see another one come up right in time for the festive season.
