One of our favorite underground spots in the city, Industrial Avenue has announced an unmissable act for its weekly Sesh party, in collaboration with 11:11 (Agartha by Doras), on Friday, October 18.
Anja Schneider, a powerhouse of talent, will be headlining Friday’s gig and if you’re a seasoned clubber, chances are you’re already familiar with that name.
Having given an early platform to legends such as Solomun and Nicole Moudaber, Anja was the owner of mobilee, one of the most influential labels in the underground electronic music scene, until she closed it down in 2017.
After which she launched ‘Sous Music’–one of her most personal projects to date–eventually leading to the release of the critically acclaimed nine-track album called ‘SoMe’.
The album was received so well that it was named as ‘Album Of The Month’ by DJ Mag followed by positive reviews in many respected music publications–including Mixmag that deemed it ‘a seamless, soulful blend of underground house and techno’.
The party kicks off at 10pm with free entrance for all until 11:30pm–if you’re as excited as we are about this, you’d be wise to get there early.
Supported by resident DJ and founder Adam Cotier along with Black Powder, it’s going to be a big night for sure!
