‘Groovers’, it’s time to reunite!
One of our favorite homegrown music fests, Groove On The Grass is returning with a banging lineup for its eighth season under the sun–and it’s one that’ll make you want to head to Emirates Golf Club right now.
Launching a brand new season on Friday, October 4, the grand opening party will have legendary German DJ Acid Pauli taking center stage along with a host of epic DJs all through the night.
Acid Pauli aka Martin Gretschmann burst onto the scene back in the ‘90s with tracks released under the moniker “Console” until he decided to launch another solo project using the name, Acid Pauli.
With a string of records, remixes and podcasts under his belt, seasoned clubbers can look forward to a big night with lots of dancing to be done.

Also, joining the talented DJ will be electro and hip-hop pioneer Egyptian Lover–known for his innovative approach to creating music, he’s the man who shaped the hip-hop scene in LA back in the early ’80s.
Having performed at a number of festivals around the world including Berlin’s Berghain and Lisbon’s Lux Fragil, we can’t wait to see what he’s got in store for Dubai!
Palms Trax will be making his grand UAE debut fresh off the back of his headlining set at Amsterdam’s Dekmantel festival last month.
You can also look forward to special performances by versatile artist Viken Arman–who’s known to push the boundaries of electronic music–along with Eclair Fifi and a host of local artists.
Taking place across two stages, early bird tickets will set you back AED 150 and can be purchased online.
