If you were looking forward to attending one of the biggest music fests in the city, we’re afraid we have some bad news for you.
BAO Festival will not be happening this year with event organizers taking to their social media account to inform party-lovers about the sudden cancellation.
While no reason has been given yet, we’re still waiting to hear more–the event was supposed to be taking place on Friday, October 4.
It was only last month that fest organizers had announced Steve Aoki as one of the headliners–the famous cake-throwing DJ and producer was supposed to be flying in for the one-off gig next month.
The lineup also included renowned DJ DJL and Mariana BO, a popular electronic DJ and producer from Mexico.
Tickets for the fest were starting from AED 230 for Early Bird General Admission, going all the way up to AED 1,250 for Premium Packages–nothing has been said so far about refunds either.
Guess we’ll have to wait and watch!
