When Lebanon’s legendary party destination, SKY 2.0 opened its doors in Dubai Design District last Wednesday, we knew we had to have a look at what is possibly going to become Dubai’s ultimate nightlife hotspot.
It’s more than just a hunch though – as we made our way in, we couldn’t help but be impressed by the sheer level of planning that went into launch night – it all seemed fit for such an iconic brand.
For those of you not familiar with the larger-than-life SKYBAR parties in Beirut, it’s hard to put into words the feeling of losing yourself in the music amongst a spectacular backdrop of mountains and the sea.
This is why we were least surprised when we got wind of SKYBAR’s nomination in the list of Best Bars in the World a few years ago. As Beirut’s first outdoor restaurant-club, the venue has never failed to deliver an exceptional clubbing experience each and every single time.
With the addition of SKY 2.0 to Dubai’s glittering nightlife scene, the bar for clubs has now been set high…or should we say, sky high. Tripling up as a restaurant, lounge and nightclub, the coming few months promise to be exciting…and we’re going to be here for it all!
