Bringing a delicious slice of The Big Apple to Dubai, our lunch with a view today was happening at the snazzy Bull & Bear located in the beautiful Waldorf Astoria DIFC.
Inspired by the now-closed steakhouse in Waldorf Astoria New York, this is about as New York as it gets–right from the massive gold-laced bull and bear statues at the entrance to the luxurious interiors that wouldn’t seem out of place in an upscale neighborhood of the concrete jungle.
With a name that’s originated from the US stock market, make no mistake, Bull & Bear has far more to offer than you’d think.
Upon arriving, we immediately had a difficult time peeling ourselves away from the floor-to-ceiling windows that offer sweeping views of DIFC and the Burj Khalifa.
One glance at the menu revealed an interesting mix of meat, seafood and burgers that’s enough to cater to anybody with a huge appetite and an eclectic taste. We decided to dive right into the lobster linguini and the ribeye steak–both were as delicious as expected.
But what really caught our attention was the Alligator Pear–a fresh avocado salad served with Kalamata rice crackers and topped with cilantro and pomegranate–even counted among 'Dubai’s 100 Best Dishes of 2019'.
If the price point seems too steep for you, you could easily opt for the business lunch package that starts from AED 105.
