When you really think about it, Dubai has plenty in common with California: sunny beaches, beautiful people and delicious food.
So, it seemed almost inevitable that a Cali Brunch would soon make its way to the city’s food scene–and what better place than the Hollywood-inspired Paramount Hotel in Business Bay.
As we made our way over to the hotel’s fine-dining restaurant Pacific Groove on this lovely Friday afternoon, we immediately felt like we were transported to the sun-drenched shores of the Golden State.
The unmistakable buzz, lively chatter and smell of wood-fired steaks brought it all back, and only made us more eager to eat our way through the brunch menu that’s served sharing style.
From handcrafted Californian rolls to seafood mains, it’s safe to say that we were left spoiled for choice all through the day. We’re still dreaming about the grilled barramundi which was totally drool-worthy and our top recommendation from the menu.
As for drinks, the bar offers an extensive cocktail and beer selection with the signature mojitos being our personal favorites.
Since a Cali-themed brunch simply wouldn’t be complete without mind-blowing tunes, we were thrilled to find a live singer belting out everything from classic soul numbers to modern R&B tracks.
All in all, this is one fab Friday brunch that’s bound to keep you coming back for more!
