DUBAINIGHT REVIEW: EVERYTHING YOU HAVE TO KNOW ABOUT AFROPOP WEDNESDAY AT O DUBAI

Instagrammable hotspot with an ultra-cool Afro-pop music ladies late night special in Dubai... plus amazing food? You already know what the answer is!





Perched on the 50th floor of the Voco Hotel, Sheikh Zayed Road, this is one Dubai lounge that needs to be on your radar for all nightlife things related. Walking into the O Dubai, make sure to grab that 'night out photo' by the neon O Lounge signage by the entrance.





The glittering starry ceiling at this Instagrammable Dubai venue perked up our senses, we knew an amazing night ahead was amongst us. We were seated on cosy velvet couches with the most stunning backdrop of Sheikh Zayed Road. The stunning view from the venue did not compare to the gorgeous 25-35 somethings sipping on cocktails and indulging in everything O Dubai has to offer.





 Our amazing host, Ralph Cenidoza, quickly made us feel comfortable with his smart attire, hospitality and aptly picking out the three most instagrammable drinks we have ever seen! The hottest Afropop brunch in the city was ignited by the amazing cocktail called The Green Mist at O Dubai: an expertly mixed Pineapple and lime number with Malibu and Amaretto in a bird-shaped glass had us vibing to the hottest Afropop, urban and hip hop tunes all night! An ideal pick for the night.





The instagrammable drink went perfectly well with the A La Carte menu that will be filled to the brim with delicious bar bites, hot and cold appetizers, flatbread selections, main courses, Japanese Sushi platters and mouth-watering desserts! If you are looking for a quick dip and sip, the recommended bar bites are the Loaded Fries with the Dynamite Shrimp and Chicken Quesadilla. The Tomato Avacado salad was a straight hit if you want to limit the calorie intake, pair O Dubai's Salmon Tartare with Avacado with the salad for the perfect appetizer.





The star of the night was undoubtedly the Shibuya Sushi Platter! Think 20 pieces of mixed maki roll perched on a large wooden boat style display with dry ice flowing down the sides, the stunning presentation was a sight for sore eyes and we wasted no time devouring the work of art. Our night was made!





This ladies late-night offer at O Dubai would not have been the same without the continuous musical heat from MC MONEYPLUS behind the deck! Playing your favourite Afropop bangers, urban music and hip hop tracks that made our hips sway and dance into the late hours. Afropop Wednesdays is a Ladies Late night special at O Dubai that should not be missed! The night is designed to pick you up right before the weekend hits with a bang! Afro-pop lovers in Dubai, this night is for you!
