Delicious food, free-flowing drinks and an unbeatable skyline view–it doesn’t take much to make us happy especially on a Monday night.
So, when we heard about OSH Dubai’s new ladies’ night offer, we knew we had to check it out ourselves. Arriving at the beautiful La Mer, it was worth taking a moment simply to soak up the gorgeous city view that was going to serve as the backdrop for the rest of our night.
As we contemplated whether or not to brave the heat in the outdoor area, the thought of having our hubbly-bubbly with such a breathtaking view was simply too hard to resist, and so, we caved.
But the best was yet to come.
Known for serving an interesting modern take on traditional Uzbek cuisine, OSH Dubai is one of the few places that imports all its vegetables and spices from Uzbekistan itself. That explains the higher prices of certain dishes.
While the menu features a fascinating mix of specialities from Central Asia too, the chicken shashlik and potato vareniki emerged as the clear winners of the night, but if it’s culinary theatrics that you’re looking for, the lamb rack is what you’ll really want to order.
The only way to end a great meal is of course, with an even better dessert, and ours was no exception. Creamy and oh-so-tasty, the gorgeous Piña Colada was almost too pretty to eat and totally worth the extra calories too!
As the evening progressed, the tempo picked up with an in-house DJ literally playing some of our favorite songs from the good old days. Ah, a happy ending to a happy night!
So, what’s our final verdict?! Mid-week blues are a thing of the past, now that we’ve found the perfect spot to help us get through the week!
Ladies, enjoy unlimited grape and rose for AED 99 every Monday from 8pm to 1am. There’s also a daily happy hour going on from 1pm to 6pm, with half-priced select beverages for everyone!
