REVIEW: BRAZILIAN BRUNCH AT FOGO DE CHAO, DOWNTOWN DUBAI

REVIEW: BRAZILIAN BRUNCH AT FOGO DE CHAO, DOWNTOWN DUBAI
Published: May 9th 2021

Located at the heart of DIFC, Fogo de Chão Dubai boasts the best of South Brazillian cuisine whilst giving you stunning panoramic views of Downtown Dubai and Burj Khalifa. On arriving at the venue we were greeted by friendly staff that is typical of Brazillian hospitality. The restaurant has a warm, family-friendly atmosphere that is extremely welcoming. As we were escorted to our table the air was filled with salsa and samba music of classic pop hits from Adele, Eurythmics and more. The South American influence can be felt on every aspect of this experience.

The moment we sat down we were brought an array of Brazillian cuisine in Dubai so a friendly word of advice: go there hungry and take your time on each course. We started with an amazing cheese bread, followed by glazed banana and palenta. We were given a tab which has one red side and one green side. The concept is whenever you turn it over to the green size, you will be constantly served with the finest selection and red means you need to hold off the servings.

Fogo de Chão Dubai is a meat lovers paradise. We had Tender Lamb, succulent Sirloin, tender brisket and mouth-watering chicken and beef bacon. Apart from this flavoursome array, you also have the option to go to starters buffet table where you have fresh salad, cheese selection and much more. When it comes to drinks, you have your classic house beverage and fine wine selection if you choose the higher packages.

The two signature cocktails are the Mojito and the Caipirinha. I would recommend the Mojito as it was the perfect concoction of ingredients that  give it that refreshing taste. The Caipirinha has a stronger kick to it and is for those who are looking for a harder hit.

Our server for the afternoon was Irene and she was ever so attentive to our table. There wasn't a moment where we even had to ask or look around for something. The moment we were done with our course she immediately brought in the next.

The dessert selection was the right amount of sweet as well as quantity. After a heavy main course you may not have the stomach for a large dessert but you have the craving for it. We had the classic Lava cake and Churros, both were moist and luscious and were to just the right amount to end this Brazillian soire.
