The Los Angeles Italian Restaurant Il Pastaio will now be found on Al Habtoor Boulevard Dubai.

The crisp chill of Dubai’s January winter was warmed by the Il Pastaio Dubai’s warm desk under lights from above. We opted for their outdoor seating area to take full advantage of Al Habtoor City’s skyscrapers embracing you.

Our servers, Christoph and Angelica, along with
Il Pastaio Dubai's General Manager Fabrizio Greco, started off our culinary journey with friendly conversation and on-point recommendations from the stunning menu. Opting for the Branzino Marinato was the perfect Antipasti choice. Expect an intricate presentation of Lemon and Dill marinated Sea Bass surrounded in Mango Coulis and sun dried tomatoes. Surprisingly, the sea bass melted in your palette while the mango coulis ended the starter with a zesty surprise. Divinity on a plate.

For the Insalate, the Primavera is a must. Tossed over Balsamic Vinegar, sink your teeth into mixed baby greens topped with Grilled Eggplant, Roasted Bell Peppers and Goat Cheese. Fresh, light and adds momentum to the Il Pastaio Dubai journey.

Waiting in bated breath for the main course, the magical finesse of its arrival exceeded all expectation. A cheese wheel was bought to our table to coat the Rigatoni Pasta shortly before topping the dish off with the luxurious white truffle. The heavenly texture of the dish was splendid, definite highlight to the meal. Pair the Rigatoni Pasta with white truffle with Il Pastaio Dubai’s Baby Chicken served with Sauteed Spinach and Paccheri alla Justin Bieber (yes, really) in pink sauce. Before diving into the deliciousness, Il Pastaio Dubai made sure to shave a generous amount of Parmesan cheese over the pasta to add a touch of southern Italy to the mix.

End the exquisite culinary journey at Il Pastaio Dubai with a fine selection of Panna Cotta and Tiramisu. After the first few introductory bites into the dessert, you will find it hard to stop. The zesty fresh flavours of the ripe red fruit paired with the light airy panna cotta left our plates empty and heart full.

A journey that made us yearn more, Il Pastaio Dubai is a must go.
