Summer Place Dubai is an oriental hotspot eatery in the city's culinary and restaurant scene. We experienced the venue's newly launched 'Sweet & Sassy' Ladies Night and here is what we discovered!
Location:
Located in the heart of Sheikh Zayed Road right next to the stunning Dubai Canal, you will find the venue at Located at the 31st floor of the V Hotel Dubai, Currio Collection by Hilton, Summer Place provides an authentic taste of Asian cuisine reminiscent of the Land of the Dragons in a contemporary interior setting.
Ambience:
Our first impression of Summer Place Dubai was contributed by their spacious dining area where we were graciously escorted to by the warm service staff. Summer Place Dubai transports you into the heart of Asia instantly with its its calming atmosphere, dimmed lighting and calming view of the Dubai Canal. The interior of this Dubai restaurant was adorned with Asian themed motifs, full lenght windows to boast glittering Canal views, luxurious wooden flooring, gold and white furnishings as well as the stunning red floral arrangements hanging from the ceiling. The combination of aesthetics at Summer Place Dubai was reminiscent of your favourite far-east getaway.

Scanning the venue, you will notice a prominent lounge as well as a spacious dining and smoking area. Opt for seating right next to the window for a stunning view of the sunset behind the city's horizon while you dine. Young and well dressed couples as well as fashionable brigades of friends will be seated in the venue, socially distanced as they enjoyed their drinks whilst swaying to Summer Place Dubai's lounge style music selection.
Service & Menu:
At this ladies night in Dubai, you will be tended to by an elegantly dressed host, Vernie, who was very professional and knowledgable of the menu. We started off our ladies night journey with the varied choice of the Sweet & Sassy Ladies Night starters: Chinese Steamed Chicken and Vegetable Dumplings, Seaweed Salad, Iceberge Cabbage Wrappers with Chicken.
For the main course, opt between Fish Fillet with Sweet & Sour Sauce, Chicken Fillet with Lemon Sauce, Diced Chicken with Chilli & Spicy Sauce, and Deep Fried Shredded Beef With Chilli Sauce (with a hint of sweetness). For Dessert, get excited for Summer Place Dubai's selection of Ice Creams and Sweets to glaze your lips!
The menu was served with rich Asian flavours, perfectly portioned per course and were presented beautifully in ceramic plating.
Thirsty? Sip your way into a glass of Chilean White Sauvignon or Italian Rose Wine to pair excellently with this ladies night menu in Dubai. The recommended cocktails at Summer Place were the Red Lotus and True Samurai. Get your cameras ready, for these delicious cocktails are instagrammable as they are delicious!

The best time to visit Summer Place Dubai is close to sunset. Make it just in time for Kristo, the bartender, to intricately fix you up the venue's signature cocktail whilst you revel over Dubai's gorgeous skyline and the sunset meeting. When you are at this ladies night venue, request for Vernie as your host. If you are a meat eater, opt for the delicious Chinese Steamed Chicken Dumplings as your starter, and Deep Fried Shredded Beef With Chilli Sauce as your main!
