Traiteur brunch at Park Hyatt Dubai has been tantalizing Dubai’s tastebuds for over a decade now.


In a city where brunch has become an institution, where Friday competition is fierce, we wanted to discover why in times when discounts run the restaurant scene, we were eager to experience Traiteur Brunch Dubai and see why it still is the weekend talk of the town. Last Friday, the four of us cruised North on Sheikh Zayed Road, up the floating bridge, into the beautiful grounds between lush golf greens and the Dubai Creek.  In half an hour, we were transported to another world, somewhere on the Mediterranean, off the coasts of Greece or Italy, perhaps…

Brasserie du Park Dubai’s elegant interiors, terrace and over a little piazza that opens onto NOEPE Dubai on the edge of the shimmering waters of the Dubai hotel’s Marina.  The vastness of the space makes for the perfect setting to sample an extravaganza of specialties in a safe and socially distanced environment. Our foodie affair with Traiteur Brunch Dubai sparked with intensity. The infatuation grew with every live cooking station.  At NOEPE Dubai, a seafood feast spread before our loving eyes, with an abundance of oysters, caviar blinis, crab, shrimp and sushi, the freshness of which excited our appetites. Outdoors, the fire was on with BBQ-grilled lobster and prime meats a plenty.  The journey continued indoors, invading our plates with warm foie gras, choice cold cuts, mussel pots and pasta variations to name a few.






At this point, we needed a well-deserved pause, relaxing in the shade of blue parasols and listening to the vibrant live duo. All the sudden, a trumpet kicked in, spicing up the atmosphere one notch up. And we were ready.  Ready for the ultimate decadence: the cheese room at
Traiteur Brunch Dubai, set in a cellar with a never-ending array of creamy, perfectly aged cheeses served with warm homemade breads.


Oscar Wilde once said, “The only way to get rid of temptation is to yield to it…”


And yield we did. We plunged soft marshmallows into the chocolate fountain and indulged fully in all the delightful desserts displayed in a room that would easily give Willy Wonka a heart attack. The wonderful hosts at this brunch in Dubai ensured our glasses were always bubbling up with joy.  Caring, attentive, never intrusive yet amicable, we can only say a huge thank you to the team at Park Hyatt Dubai. We lingered on until the golden hour, pinkish skies hovering smoothly above the distant Dubai skyline, reflecting into the Dubai Creek.  Decidedly happy guests smiling, fully relaxed and satiated, leaning back in their comfortable seats…  and the fire pit lighted up to welcome the night!







Yes, we got a full understanding of why Traiteur Brunch Dubai is an all-time Dubai favorite.  Premium quality food executed with passion and precision, generous pours, enchanting service and that feeling of having spent a day in Portofino just 30 minutes away from the city.  This is hospitality done right and worth every penny.  A must-try and a haven for people who like to live the good life.  We will definitely return for a splurge!
