As we made our way over to he 31st floor of the V Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton, we couldn’t help but feel excited about the latest addition to Dubai’s ever-growing culinary scene.

A fun fact about Summer Place is that it had first opened its doors back in 1988 at the Metropolitan Hotel–making it one of the first Chinese restaurants in Dubai.
Now, having opened up with a brand new look and in a brand new location, we were curious to see just how much the restaurant had actually changed over the past few decades.
With a trendy makeover and spectacular city views, it became immediately clear that Summer Place has come a long way since its first foray into Dubai’s food scene.
But it’s not just the décor that's had a major update. We were delighted to find that the menu now offers an interesting mix of both authentic and contemporary Chinese delights.
From house specialities such as wok fried lobster (our favorite!) to old-school dishes such as vegetable fried rice, there’s plenty for foodies to explore at Summer Place.
