MONIKA KRUSE AND ANDHIM – MARCH 2ND
Due to the perfect weather March usually brings out the big bookings and Blue Marlin Ibiza UAE starts the month the way they mean to end it with one of techno’s leading ladies Monika Kruse. Her Terminal M imprint has been a home to some of the genres biggest names and her own brand of techno has seen her rise through the ranks of techno since her arrival in 1991. Joining her out on the terrace will be Terminal M label mates and super-house stars Andhim. The two German sausages from Cologne have gone from studio home bodies to festival stalwarts and no line-up is complete without them.
KALUKI – SKREAM, SOLARDO AND RAXON – MARCH 9TH
No season would be complete without a visit from Manchester’s Kaluki Musik and we are also lucky enough to have a flying visit from one of Dubai’s favourite sons – Raxon. As is the nature of a Kaluki party he will not be on his own, he will be joined by red hot house duo Solardo and Skream. What a party that is going to be.
CHRIS LEIBING AND KOLLEKTIV TURNSTRASSE – MARCH 16TH
With tech house being perfectly represented it’s time to bring in the big guns of techno and they don’t get much bigger than CLR Chris Liebing. Being one of the first artists to truly embrace the digital revolution Chris is a master of his craft and has more than a few unreleased gems up his sleeve from his forthcoming album. Chris will be joined by the pairing of German duo Kollectiv Turmstrasse, 2 artists that are just as exciting now as they were in 2000. Fusing melodies and moods with dancefloor ready beats has all been part of their journey. This will be the perfect platform from which to launch the night from.
ALL DAY I DREAM – GORJE NEWEK & IZHEVSKI, OONA DAHL AND ZONE+ - MARCH 17th
With All Day I Dream of Cities in the Clouds moving from their previous home of Dubai Design District, to a venue that could have been custom built for the utopian day party. Heading up the 2nd party is a duo of artists that have been nothing short of prolific for the label thus far – Gorje Hewek & Izhevski. Completing the line-up is ADID artists Oona Dahl and the regional star of the outfit Zone+
AME AND STEPHAN BODZIN (LIVE) – MARCH 23rd
Together with Dixon, Âme have bent and shaped the electronic music landscape in such a way through their Innervisions imprint that is indelible that it can be felt in most modern dance genres. On this occasion, the spotlight falls on Kristian Beyer to take the reins through one of his incendiary DJ sets. As one of the most in demand and electrifying live acts of recent times, Stephan Bodzin has risen to legendary status and rightly so. If you can make your own performance midi controllers and wig out on a Moog synth like he can then you are alright in our book. This is one party that is not to be missed.
SVEN VATH AND GERD JANSON – MARCH 30th
There is really is little left to say about Sven Väth that hasn’t already been said about the Cocoon boss, so if you want a history lesson go to Wikipedia. If you want a lesson techno, make sure you are front and center for one of the parties of the year. As if that wasn’t enough, Running Back head Gerd Janson will be providing some swing to the party. What else is there to say about this party, other than it is essential.
