After last month’s landmark 7thseason opener with UK rave legends Orbital, Chicane, James Zabiela, Dewalta & Shannon and East End Dubs, Groove on the Grass return with an almighty line-up to see out 2018 in typical style. Topping the artist array on Friday, December 7th will be Hamburg sensation David August who will be bringing his acclaimed live show to the green surroundings of Emirates Golf Course. Supporting David at his own request is Venetian ambient electronica artist Gigi Masin, an artist that has achieved cult status as a result of being sampled by such luminaries as Björk and Nujabes. Closing out the action on the main stage will be Parisian visionary Chloé and her dazzling live show which serve as the perfect curtain call for yet another sterling year for the Groove on the Grass mainstage that positively bristles with highlights.
Taking control of the Green Arena for the final party of 2018 is Miami artist Danny Daze. Danny is an artist that doesn’t know the meaning of the word subtle, having caught the man in action at Audio Obscura at this year’s Amsterdam Dance Event we can assure you that you are in for a real treat. His flawless, yet breakneck mixing style coupled with bombastic track selection will be a very fitting closing set to a fine year in the tent. Completing the international line-up in the Green Arena is German paradox Redshape. His electric live show has wowed crowds at clubs like fabric in London, Blitz in Munich and Chalet in Berlin, so get ready for Redshape to add Groove on the Grass to that list.
