LISTEN UP: A DRY NIGHT HAS BEEN ANNOUNCED IN DUBAI NEXT WEEK!

LISTEN UP: A DRY NIGHT HAS BEEN ANNOUNCED IN DUBAI NEXT WEEK!
While we’re still waiting for a holiday to be confirmed for Ascension Day on the 3rd of April, a dry day has been announced by the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) to mark the occasion.

Starting from 6pm on Tuesday, the 2nd of April, all major establishments in Dubai will remain dry until 7pm on Wednesday, the 3rd of April.

Whether we’ll be getting a day off during that period still remains to be decided, but we’ll be keeping you informed as and when it is confirmed.

Other holidays to look forward to include Eid Al Fitr which should be a big one – expect a three day-holiday beginning either on the 4th or 5th June.

The same goes for Eid Al Adha which is likely to take place on the 12th of August.

It is necessary to note that Islamic celebrations are subject to moon-sighting and the dates cannot be confirmed unless announced by the UAE government. But you can consider these dates as a rough estimate of when to start planning for the holidays.

There are way more holidays coming up later on this year, and if you want to know about them all, our guide on all the confirmed holidays in the UAE should be a good place to start.
