There’s good news for those of you who missed the light and laser show at the Burj Khalifa this New Year’s Eve. Emaar, the property developer responsible for the NYE show at Burj Khalifa, has announced that it will be running the light and laser portion of the show until the end of March.
This week, you can catch the laser, light and The Dubai Fountain shows at the iconic landmark from the 1st of January to the 5th of January. The shows will start at 7pm and 9pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Then on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, at 8pm, 9pm and 10pm.
From Tuesday (8th of January) onwards, the same show will run once per day from Tuesdays to Saturdays. There’ll also be two additional laser and light shows that will be displayed at the Burj each night.
Timings for these shows will be as follows – 7:15pm, 8pm and 9:15 pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays; Thursdays to Saturdays at 6:45pm, 8pm and 9:45pm.
Having bagged two new Guinness World Records – one for the ‘Largest LED-illuminated Façade’ and the ‘Tallest LED-illuminated Façade’ – the theme for the laser and light displays this time was ‘time and progression’.
With over a million people having watched the fireworks at Downtown Dubai on the 31st of December, the stunning display continues to be a top favorite among both residents and tourists alike.
