Sooo, Drake dropped a little somethin’ somethin’ on his social media account a few days ago that’s got everybody in Dubai excited!
While promoting his OVO (October’s Very Own) label on social media, eagle-eyed Drake fans in Dubai noticed something that seemed all too familiar on a hoody – the UAE flag!
Does this mean we can expect some branded merch to be launching in the city real soon? Considering Drake’s love for Dubai, we’d think so!
The hoody also featured an owl logo in gold which is characteristic of the label. Drake’s line of contemporary sportswear seems to be really taking off with previous collaborations having included Nike’s Jordan brand, Timberland and Clarks.
As a nod to his musical roots, the company also launched an annual music festival back in 2010 hosted by the man himself. Performers at the event included Kanye West, Jay Z, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar – basically, anybody who is anybody in the hip hop industry.
It’ll be exciting to see some UAE-branded Drake merchandise. But it’ll be even better if the star launched a boutique in the city for his fans!
