This is the news we’ve all been waiting for – and we can now finally confirm that a four-day public holiday for Eid Al Fitr has been announced for the whole country.
Although still subject to moon sighting, Eid Al Fitr is expected to fall on Tuesday, June 4 – so, if you have a two-day weekend, you’re likely to get five days off from work.
Five WHOLE days of NO work. Let that sink in for sometime.

According to an official announcement released earlier this year, both public and private sector employees will be receiving the same number of holidays from here on out.
The next big holiday to look forward to would be for Eid Al Adha from Friday, August 9 to Monday, August 12 – this will, however, also depend on the moon sighting.
