"The voice of their generation" - CNN

Emerging from Beirut’s underground indie scene, Mashrou' Leila have continued to carve out their own distinct space within Arabic pop. Singing about modern Arabic identity, on stage, frontman Hamed Sinno’s performance personifies the passion of their message – as strikingly relevant as their music.

"A Lebanese band with an eclectic sound, tears up the conventions of Arabic pop culture" - BBC

Mashrou'Leila has crafted some of the most melancholic ballads and raucous anthems in contemporary alternative Arabic music, and went on to perform them live at sold-out venues worldwide. Indeed, their success is not only regional (Baalbeck Festival, Byblos Festival, Roman Theater in Amman...) as Mashrou’ Leila is one of the very few Arab pop bands that play full-house concerts in venues across Europe and the United States: Exit Festival (Croatia), POP Montreal (Canada), Paleo Festival (Switzerland), Festival d'Ile de France (France), to name a few.

The band has released four albums to date: Mashrou’ Leila (2008), El Hal Romancy (2011), Raasük (2013), and Ibn El Leil (2015).
