TWENTY TWENTY w/ KEN ISHII

KEN ISHII is an artist, DJ, producer and remixer who spends more than half his time away from home, playing DJ sets all over the world anywhere from Europe, Asia, to North/ South America, and Australia/New Zealand. He first debuted in 1993 under the Belgian label R&S. He gained No.1 status in the techno charts under British music magazine NME. His music video from the single “Extra” by the director of AKIRA, won MTV DANCE MUSIC VIDEO OF THE YEAR in 1996. In 1998 he produced the Nagano Olympics International theme song which was played in over 70 different countries. In 2000, Ken made an appearance on the front cover of NEWSWEEK magazine. Then in 2004 he won the BEST TECHNO DJ award at the top DJ AWARDS held in Ibiza, Spain. In 2005 he produced the music for "LOVE EARTH EXPO” held by the Japanese government. Last year he appeared at the NINTENDO SWITCH Presentation where his music was played to over millions of people worldwide. Not to mention last year, Ken played at the massively popular music festival TOMORROWLAND in Belgium. This year marks his 25th anniversary year of his global debut, and currently he is working on an album and several projects going underway.
